This is it……..
Is it really the last day……it has gone so fast and doesnt seen 2 minutes since we arrived here in Nong Khai. Today is the day that we have to say goodbye to the children and carers at Sarnelli!! What will I take away from this truly amazing experience ….memories! filled with laughter and fun not only from my new found friends but from the children as well. If I could bottle the experience that I have had here and sell it then the children not only at Sarnelli but millions around the world would benefit from it.
They say ‘Home is where the Heart is’………it truly is here.

Good luck Week 5 volunteers - As Steve from Week 2 (?) said i’m pretty sure that everyone of us that has been out there will be thinking of you on Friday morning at 11am, knowing that you are having the leaving ceremony. It will be one the stangest experiences of your life - I have a photo of me hugging one of the children, and not only have I got a massive smile on my face, but tears in my eyes. You will be sad but loving it. Enjoy, if you do manage to bottle the experience I hope you get it through customs!!!! Because i’ll be ordering 10 off you.

Was right there again this morning.
Got more photos together now too so was able to spend more time this morning thinking about it all and remembering while at work.
This 6 weeks is flying by….
Hope week 5 enjoyed it as much as we all have. Not surprised there are no blogs from ya yet, it takes ages to come down off that one.
